Agent-ready tools

AI tools your agent can actually use.

If you're shipping with Claude, Cursor or Replit Agent, your tools need to speak MCP. This is every tool in Magpie's catalog that ships an MCP server today, grouped by what you'd actually plug them into.

36 tools with MCP supportCurated and scored by Magpie's rubricHow we score MCP →

Quick answer

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is how AI agents like Claude and Cursor read and write to your other tools. A tool with an MCP server can be queried, edited or acted on by your agent without custom integration work. Magpie weights MCP support at +2 on the integration dimension because it compounds: every tool that ships MCP today is one less custom integration you have to maintain. If your agent needs to read your Linear board, push to Stripe or pull from your warehouse, the tool has to ship MCP first.

How we score MCP

MCP support is the strongest single signal in our rubric.

Magpie scores every tool against six dimensions. MCP support gives a +2 boost on the integration dimension; it's the highest single signal we use, because the protocol is where agent tooling is heading. Tools without MCP can still score well overall, but MCP-ready tools have a structural advantage.

Building an agent?

Magpie itself is queryable via MCP. Point your agent at the endpoint below and it can search, fetch and list every tool in the catalog. Three methods: search_tools, get_tool, list_categories.

Endpoint

https://magpieai.store/api/mcp
  • search_toolsFilter the catalog by category, MCP/API support, free tier, score floor.
  • get_toolFetch full detail for a single tool by slug, including pricing tiers and scoring breakdown.
  • list_categoriesEnumerate every category in the catalog with tool counts.

Looking for the MCP-native tools?

Some tools' primary product IS MCP infrastructure: registries, hosted hubs, structured memory. Those have their own category page. See the MCP-native category →
